Bilingual Hospital Liaison

HomeSafe has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Hospital Liaison Specialist in our HEALTHLY BEGINNINGS Program. Reporting to the Program Supervisor, the Hospital Liaison is responsible for conducting postnatal screens and assessments to determine eligibility status for entry into the Healthy Beginnings Program in assigned hospitals. This position requires flexibility and local travel to assigned hospital locations.

 Requirements: 
A Bachelor's degree in Human Services (preferably in a field such as social work, developmental psychology, and / or childhood education) is required. A minimum of 2 years in child welfare, primary prevention services, child development or related human services field is required. Experience working with newborns and newly delivered mothers preferred. A valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Proficiency in database programs preferred; Excellent knowledge of child development and early childhood education, excellent assessment skills for children from birth to age 5, problem solving skills, as well as excellent verbal, written, interpersonal skills required. BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH REQUIRED.
