Business Analyst


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • The IT Business Analyst will interface with clients, internal departments (programmers) or management to gather requirements, writer development requests, perform QA testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) on the development of process improvement requests and file transmissions.
  • Work with Senior Analysts and Management to maintain and enhance processes in an effort to maximize efficiencies.
  • Serve as functional expert for CRM- maintain detailed documentation such as project logs, writer development tickets and work as the liaison between all parties.
  • Create (or assist in the creation of) reports and queries for regular or ad hoc usage as they relate to client and or departmental needs. Run reports to validate data and manage clean-up processes.
  • Manage queue and daily reporting needs in Querying tool and CRM. Ensure data accuracy, identify and resolve defects with in assigned SLA's.
  • Provide status reports to management; data assistance to internal department and clients.
  • Manager (organize and prioritize) multiple project with conflicting due dates in a high volume, fast- paced environment.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform all other responsibilities and duties as deemed necessary

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

TYPICAL EDUCATION: Bachelor’s or Associates degree or equivalent preferred.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
  •  3 years of work experience in related field; Banking or Mortgage preferred.
  • Business analysis and the preparation of data reports
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with CRM and querying tools preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: A self-motivated person with excellent communication and organizational skills as well as multi-taking abilities are required. Detailed oriented.
