Living Full Out Radio Show -Production and Sales Internship

Living Full Out Inc. is looking for an intern to assist with the production and sales aspects of the “Living Full Out with Nancy Solari” radio show.
The company has offices in Los Angeles, CA and is structured so that staff works remotely or in the office. Candidates will have the same ability to work remotely or in the office.
Tasks for this internship may include: Production, Assisting with the scheduling of sponsors during the show.  This position will include working directly with Nancy Solari and executives at Living Full Out Radio Show to monitor and organize the timing of the show with regards to the clock of the show.  This is a hands-on internship and may involve going to Living Full Out Radio Show to meet with potential sponsors and production teams. With regards to producing the show, you will gain experience in writing, as well as producing the show. 

For sales: In the radio industry, there is an art to how to bring new sponsors in as a part of a show. The Living Full Out Radio Show is a call-in radio show, so we select sponsors that will have a direct positive impact to the challenges that the callers are dealing with. You will learn how to speak to C-Level Executives at companies as well as how to negotiate a contract and be able to work creatively in assisting with packaging the right benefits for specific sponsors. Most programming does require sponsors, so learning this skill will help you in the long run.  

For these positions, you will need to learn to use our CRM database, where we manage and take notes on sponsors, as well as guests that we have for the show. In this internship, you will also learn various marketing tools involving social networking, as well as traditional networking. 

Candidates will be trained on how to professionally speak with potential sponsors. They will be given scripts and time to role-play in addition to making their own calls. Candidates will be trained on how to use the CRM and the meaning behind the data, as well as how and why it is collected. Candidates will learn how to research potential guests and how to use properly outreach to them via email and phone. Overall, the training will give them the opportunity to advance their skills both verbally and written.
