Fulton County Extension 4-H Educator

This position will help carry out the county 4-H Educational Program (under the direction of the 4-H Area Coordinator):
- Lead by teaching 4-H Educational Learning programs in the classroom.
- Direct 4-H’ers in preparation for the 4-H competitive events including project achievement, judging teams, etc.
- Transport or arrange for transportation of 4-H’ers to various district and state events and if assigned, provide leadership for youth while attending these events.
- Incorporate the results of program evaluations and feedback in planning future programs and techniques used in implementing programs.
- Publicize programs and workshops offered in local county or nearby counties to clientele.
- Attends required 4-H events as assigned by the 4-H Area Agent, County Coordinator, or District Personnel.
- Show high standards of professionalism in personal contacts, appearance, and work habits.
- Maintain office inventory of office supplies and materials as needed to support the 4-H program.

- Conduct all duties in accordance with the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Equal Opportunity plan that ensures all educational programs, assistance, and materials to all people without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability or veteran status.
- Regularly participate in staff conferences.
- Process or develop adequate computer skills to enhance communication to the public and Extension.
- Assist staff with day to day operations of Cooperative Extension county office by answering phone, processing mail, distributing publications, greeting visitors, filing documents, etc. (when needed).
- Other duties as assigned by 4-H Area Agent and County Coordinator.
