Operations and Sales Coordinator - Denver Hardwood Co - Denver, CO

Denver Hardwood Company, a division of Flooring Distribution Group, seeks an experienced Operations and Sales Coordinator to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In this position, the successful candidate will work closely with all departments to make sure that our customers are getting exceptional service from our company in both Denver and Colorado Springs. This is accomplished by collaborating with the Manager of Distribution Operations and reporting to sales leadership.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS OUR OPERATIONS AND SALES COORDINATOR.
·       Degree in business or a related field and/or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations and sales support with knowledge and experience in supply-chain management and inventory management.
·       Demonstrated and progressive experience in distribution and sales which includes strong customer service acumen, strategic cost saving measures, and working with management to create uniform standard expectations for inside sales and best practice procedures amongst our local business units.
·       A commitment to exceptional customer service.
·       A work style that is motivating, inclusive, persuasive and able to defuse tense situations should they occur, especially between Sales and Operations.
·       Through your interactions, you instill confidence and trust with our customers, inside and outside sales, vendors and back-office.
·       Proficiency with computers and MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook calendar & email), required; ERP and database management software experience helpful.
·       Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
·       Excellent time management and organization skills.
·       A positive attitude that is flexible and works well independently and within a team.
·       Enhanced problem-solving skills able to handle critical issues with customers and staff in a timely manner.
·       Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
·          Possess a valid driver’s license and ability travel on occasion and overnight (less than 10%).
