Senior Financial Analyst
Ecolab has an opening for a Financial Analyst in our Nalco Water Corporate Account Finance Organization, located in Naperville, IL. The individual will be responsible for providing direct financial support to the North America Paper Division Corporate Account and Street Sales teams. Through this role, this position will be expected to understand the various customer programs and act as finance business partner to the Corporate Account Sales team, primarily within the Nalco Water market segments.
This position will serve as a finance business partner to the Corporate Account Sales team helping to drive sales growth and safeguarding the profitability of the business. This includes working on upfront deal making, ongoing account profit improvement projects and price adjustment. This position will work closely with legal, marketing, sales operations, and other internal departments as needed to support the corporate account and street sales teams. They will also be responsible for monitoring financial provisions in the completed agreements, ad-hoc reporting, and projects as needed.
What You Will Do:
- Work directly with Corporate Account & Sales Managers, and marketing to provide financial support in the areas of deal analysis and contract negotiation, proforma P&L’s, profit management, pricing strategy and execution, contract management and rebate analysis
- Support the overall Corporate Account Finance team with development and execution of best practices and drive process improvements
- Advanced financial modelling and analysis with large data sets
- Drive gross margin improvement initiatives and provide pricing analysis
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to internal and external customers as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of accounting and/or finance experience
- No immigration sponsorship available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP experience (or similar ERP platform)
- Experience in Hyperion, EPM, or similar financial reporting tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain business relationships
