Artist Assistant at Lyon Road Art

Quad Cities artist is looking for an energetic, organized and artistic individual to be a part of her production team for her fast-growing company, Lyon Road Art! Employee will initially assist with printing and packaging art prints for customers around the world, as well as assist with general organizational duties. If employee shows consistent competence and enthusiasm, the position will grow to include more comprehensive duties in the areas of customer communication, marketing and website maintenance. Great position for those seeking a learning opportunity in a small business or art business. Position is part-time. Seeking someone available on-site in the Quad Cities for 10-20 hours/week. Hours are very flexible, can be adjusted to fit your schedule!

Duties include (but not limited to):

-Working with a large format printer to generate high resolution art prints

-Carefully packaging shipments and transporting to post office

-Quality control

-Maintaining Inventory

-Photoshop editing

-Communicating with customers

-Following up on package deliveries and customer requests

-Website maintenance

Necessary Qualifications:

-Strong organizational skills

-Problem solving skills

-Some Photoshop skills

-Excellent attention to detail

-Ability to learn new procedures quickly and efficiently

-Strong written and oral communication skills

-Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree (or working on one)

Bonus qualifications:

-Basic web maintenance skills

-Photography skills

-Customer relations experience

-Social media marketing experience
