Senior Data Consultant (San Diego, CA)
Do you want to join a fast-paced consulting firm that specializes in data analytics? We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise complemented with a business/consulting background to join our team here in San Diego.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering required
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics preferable
- 7+ years of related work experience
- 5+ years of consulting experience
- Expertise and/or certification in some or all of the following technologies: Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, Splunk, Microsoft BI (SSIS/SSAS, SQL Server, PowerPivot), SAS, SPSS, Splunk
- Programming expertise in some or all of the following languages: C#, Java, SQL, R, Python
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must be located in the San Diego area
Job responsibilities include:
- Identifying business trends and problems through complex data analysis
- Interpreting results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining
- Designing, developing, and implementing the most valuable analytics solutions for our clients
- Designing data models and developing databases to support business solutions
- Managing client relationships and requirements
