Essential Functions:
- Fall part-time paid internship working in EMC’s Corporate Communications area
- Assists with the coordination of a multi-state communications campaign
- Collaborates with Communications Specialist and Communications Manager to carry out campaign requirements and achieve milestones on time
- Solicits feedback from campaign participants via phone and email and presents survey results to campaign lead
- Supports the Corporate Communications Department by performing other work as assigned, including proofreading and copywriting
Education & Experience:
- Major in Communications, Marketing or related field
- Completion of junior year
- Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
- Related course work required
- Experience coordinating large projects or campaigns preferred
- Experience using SurveyMonkey or similar survey tool preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of survey methodology and questionnaire construction
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and drive to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
