Account Coordinator - Retirement/401K

Responsibilities:
The Consultant will be responsible for the following tasks working with the DCC Practice Leader, CG Producers and the DCC team, including, but not limited to:
·         Support for sales staff by preparing presentation packages for prospects
·         Prepare/Revise Letters of Intent & Understanding, and Statement of Works
·         Print and bind material for meetings
·         Assist the DCC Practice Leader with cross sell initiatives
o   Develop, manage and maintain relationships with EB/PC Producers to support cross sales efforts
o   Track activity with EB/PC producers in U Engage
o   Regularly prepare and send marketing emails to Clients, Producers and Prospects through updating his mail-chimp list
  • Assist and enhance marketing efforts or special projects
  • Manage and maintain U Engage for DB, DCC Practice Leaders
  • with efforts to win new business and establishment of new client relationships
  • Prepare new client paperwork including USI Securities paperwork (BOR Letter, New Acc. App. and COFA), IAS paperwork
  • Update IAS prospect paperwork and New Client Set up spreadsheets
  1. Track paperwork to ensure it returned and executed promptly
·         Support the Diocesan Practice with sales initiatives and event planning: prepare/revise proposals/presentations/marketing materials for Prospects/Clients, prepare RFPs
  • The consultant is expected to print and bind material and assist the DCC Practice Leader with scheduling of meetings and expense reporting
  • The consultant may be involved with RFP responses and assist the CG Marketing team with that effort
  • Update the CG databases: CT Master database, NY DCC client database and occasionally assist with Qvidian
  • Coordinate the access to service provider websites for new clients
  • Collaborate with the DCC Account Coordinator to prepare team meeting materials and distributing copies in advance via email
  • Notify the Account Coordinator of new billable projects to track and provide executed proposals for billing tracking purposes
  • Coordinate sales related events
  • Work towards understanding of retirement plan document restatements, amendments, summary plan descriptions, controlled groups of corporations, 401(k) and 403(b) plans, IRS non-discrimination testing and minimum coverage, Form 5500, service contracts, ERISA concepts, fiduciary responsibilities, etc.
  • Learn to create and automate adjustments to spreadsheets analyzing cost savings achieved for clients and prospects, estimated plan expense summaries
  • to review fee disclosure statements, learn about various service provider platforms, perform calculations of weighted average expense ratio and understand interplay of “required revenue” and revenue sharing
  • Understand behavioral finance concepts and automatic enrollment plan designs
  • Occasionally may need to attend sales presentations
  • Some clerical support may be required as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
·         Bachelor’s Degree or higher  in any field but preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and/or Marketing
·     Experience in DC plan investments, administration, sales, marketing, and/or compliance a plus
·         Strong writing, verbal and phone skills, professional demeanor
·         Series 6, 63, 65, and 7 or equivalent may be supported depending on performance and career track
·         Proven aptitude and work ethic and/or up to two/three years related business experience
·         Advanced or at least proficient in all Microsoft Office Products  
·         Attention to details and good organizational skills
·         Good communication and interpersonal skills
