Tax Internship

Hamilton Juffer & Associates, LLP is offering spring part-time and fall full-time internship opportunities with our firm. This internship will provide an introduction to public accounting and the responsibilities that are normally associated with a tax associate. Interns will have the opportunity to work on business tax returns, trust tax returns, individual tax returns, and research projects in the area of taxation. 

Hamilton Juffer & Associates, LLP has an outstanding client base and specializes in tax planning and compliance. All of Hamilton Juffer & Associates, LLP partners were previously employed by a “Big 4” accounting firm. This means that interns will have access to the knowledge and experience normally associated with a large “Big 4” firm while working in a small office environment.

Candidates must be accounting majors, have above average written and verbal communication skills, project management skills, successful problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to perform under time-pressures as well as meet deadlines. Candidates should be honest, ethical, and have a strong work ethic. Other qualities we are looking for include professional behavior and appearance, being proactive, resourceful, and client-service oriented.
