HR Assistant

HR Assistant

Job Overview
Provides support in an HR Employee Services department to include pre-employment processes, background verifications, and personnel records reviews
Significantly supports federal compliance initiatives
Supplied instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform expected job functions
Contacts internal and external partners for documentation collection and clarification
May be expected to perform some clerical duties (electronic filing, scanning, etc.)
Reports to supervisor/manager

Job Knowledge
Familiar with HR concepts, practices, and procedures

Job Skills
Intermediate Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) proficiency

Job Abilities
Perform a variety of tasks
Output is dependable and timely
Demonstrates innovation, integrity, and accountability

Education
High School Diploma/GED required
Associate's Degree preferred

Experience
Minimum 2 years in HR field or related area
Corporate type setting preferred

Additional Notes
1+ year contract - Potential for extension based on performance Core hours of business are 9AM-3PM (start time must be 9AM or earlier, end time must be 3PM or later)
