Job Description

The Spicer Jeffries Internship program is offered to students in their junior and senior year of college who are looking to build a career in Public Accounting. During this internship, you will gain real world experience in cutting edge industry, learn business skills, and expand your network. Our internships also hold the possibly of a full-time job.

Primary Responsibilities
As an intern at Spicer Jeffries your primary responsibilities will mirror that of a full-time staff accountant at our firm, including:
-    Preparation of audit work papers
-    Participation in all facets of an audit engagement
-    Preparation of financial statements
-    Tax return preparation
-    Tax research
-    Working closely amongst all levels of the organization to collectively deliver a quality end product

Qualifications
-    Junior or Senior pursing a degree in accounting
-    Cumulative GPA: 3.0
-    Proficient in Microsoft Office
-    Understanding of accounting practices and principles
-    Excellent organization and project management skills
-    Highly motivated and dedicated to providing quality professional services
-    Strong communication, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
-    Steadfast professional integrity
