Functional Overview:
Whirlpool Corporation is looking for talented and enthusiastic candidates to join our Digital Center of Excellence. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing and advise overall digital paid marketing activities to support US brands, business units and corporate teams.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide brands and corporation with deep SEO knowledge, web expertise, digital marketing inputs on SEO and SEM and tools to help drive strategy and content development.
  • Act as a consultative resource and subject matter expert for our brand teams’ across SEO, paid search media program, and digital campaigns.
  • Perform keyword research and analysis and develop SEO strategy and roadmaps for new and existing websites across brands.
  • Utilize BrightEdge to analyze website SEO performance and provide strategic recommendations to improve search rankings, organic traffic, and overall site health from a technical aspect.
  • Regularly complete SEO site audits as well as search engine ranking benchmarks and deliver monthly, quarterly, yearly SEO performance reports.
  • Work with external web agencies, developers, and copywriters to establish SEO strategies and search engine-friendly website content development as per best practices within the industry.
  • Liaise with SEM agency teams to synchronize organic and paid search and increase efficiencies and conversions across all digital marketing efforts.
  • Keep up to date with SEO best practices, search engine ranking and keyword research tools and industry research.
  • Own and manage relationships with key SEO and digital partners.
  • Skilled in interpreting business measurement/reporting needs. Coordinate multiple stakeholder requests and project activities at any one time to ensure accurate, timely and efficient reporting and analysis deliverables.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize workflow and handle competing or changing priorities.
 
Minimum Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)and Search Engine Marketing (SEM/PPC) strategy and tactical implementation
  • Experience working with technical SEO, content marketing strategy, link building tactics, and web analytics
 
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of the webpage structures and site architecture.
  • Understanding of Content Management System (CMS) - Adobe Experience Manager or other.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as BrightEdge, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, MOZ, and others.
  • Extensive knowledge measuring and using insights from digital marketing tools and ability to provide recommendations based on insights, industry benchmarks and best practices.
  • Experience with paid search marketing platforms such as Search Ads 360, Google Ads, and Bing Ads
  • Experience with media campaigns, execution and marketing analytics
  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform
  • Experience working with media data including but not limited to campaign performance, channel performance and partner performance
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate insights and recommended actions.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, consulting skills, presentation skills and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Knowledge in digital marketing channels including email, display, social, video, and programmatic.
