PR & Communications Internship
We are recruiting a PR & Communications intern looking to gain valuable work experience with an emerging brand: WEST X EAST. You will work closely with the Co-Founders and learn from their creative direction and overall business operations. It’s an opportunity to enhance your portfolio and gain hands on experience with a fashion start-up.
Position Requirements:
- Pursuing PR & Communications
- Excellent writer
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inform and entertain via written, oral and visual media
- An innovative self-starter with problem solving skills, creativity, ambition, and a strong work ethic
- Detailed oriented
- Interested in working with a startup
Job Duties and Tasks Include but are NOT limited to:
- Develop, research & manage database of clients, industry contacts, & press for CRM efforts
- Manage written communication: press, brand identity & social media
- Create relationships with or Magazine editors, bloggers and PR agencies
- Coordinate all inquiries and communication between brand and fashion insiders
- Work on marketing tactics through social media [Twitter, FB, Instagram, Pinterest etc.]

This is a School Credit opportunity
Must commit 15 hours per week
Must have a laptop
