Job Description
JMJ Phillip is seeking a Writer to assist with resume services for our Employment BOOST brand. The Writer will work collaboratively with the Career Services Manager to evaluate, develop, and write resumes while providing the highest level of customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate resumes submitted for critiquing and score based on a proprietary matrix.
- Strategize with clients about resume and career goals.
- Leverage knowledge of keywording and writing skills to provide first drafts, re-writes, and final copy resumes.
- Participate in calls and meetings with clients to develop additional resume content.
- Work with clients to develop cover letters and/or redevelop their LinkedIn profiles when appropriate.
- Assist in special projects as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 0 – 2+ years of business experience
- Ability to write at a rapid pace
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong business acumen/terminology
- Desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment
