SAP Archiving INTERNSHIP

Summary of Position
The SAP Archiving Intern is responsible for building, supporting, and enhancing the technical landscape for the archiving and records management solution. They will receive instruction on general SAP system use, as well as in-depth education on the importance of data archiving has within that environment. This team player will take direction from an SAP data archiving analyst and help to implement Kimberly-Clark’s SAP data archiving strategy.

Responsibilities
·      Create and/or monitor archiving jobs for effectiveness and completeness. Re-evaluate and update job variants to optimize archiving runs.
·      Perform necessary SAP configurations for archive objects.
·      Collaborate with members of functional and infrastructure teams to identify and implement data-related performance optimization opportunities.
·      Review and update existing SAP system documentation.
·      Develop and deliver a presentation describing what they accomplished and learned.

Qualifications
·      A strong understanding of relational database technology, as well as a general understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. The individual will develop and build his/her SAP Archiving knowledge and skills within this role.
·      Experience using the Microsoft Office suite as well as familiarity with enterprise collaboration tools such as SharePoint or Teams.
·      This position requires an excellent command of the English language, including reading, writing, and spoken conversation.
·      A general understanding of corporate records retention policies is desirable.
