: As a Career Intern with MassMutual Chicago, located in the Loop, you will have the ability to work side-by-side the firms’ partners and associates to get a firsthand look at the career of a Financial Services Representative. Sharpen your professional skills and gain valuable knowledge by learning the day-to-day responsibilities of managing a growing client base and running your own business. Excel in the position and an opportunity to become a licensed Junior Associate may be available.

Below is a non-inclusive list of what the Career Internship entails:
·     Support existing client books by conducting update calls, annual review scheduling and identifying product opportunities
·     Create Life, Disability, and Annuity Insurance Illustrations for prospective clients
·     Compose echoWealth presentations on behalf of associates
·     Shadow associates and partners in meetings with existing and prospective clients
·     Receive, file, and oversee applications from clients during the underwriting process
·     Coordinate (phone/email) client and associate meetings in order to finalize paperwork
·     Effectively communicate the MM-Chicago client value proposition to gain favorable introductions
·     Generate weekly referrals and input them into the firm’s CRM in order to continue to build a database of prospective clients and financial professional candidates
Qualifications: *List is not all inclusive
·     Minimum - Senior status at a local university (required)
·     Marketing, Communications, Finance, Economics and Business majors preferred
·     Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic
·     Self-motivated and goal-oriented
·     Strong organizational and time management skills
·     Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
