Co-Op Program Management - RCH 2346

6 months / January - June (flexible) / 40 hours per week / $15.38 - $21.32
*Housing allowance available to eligible candidates

Your Role:
As a Program Management Co-Op, depending on your qualifications and desires, you will work in one or more of the following areas of the Program Management Office: New Product Development, Capital, and Information Technology. To be successful in this role, you will need to feel comfortable working with multiple areas of the business in a team environment. You will be assigned a Program Manager as your mentor and given an assigned project to manage during your tenure. 

Your Responsibilities:
  • Assess and analyze the appropriate phase / gate processes based on the project assigned (new product development, capital, and IT
  • Perform duties required of a Project Manager for assigned project(s), including scheduling, cost tracking, team building, problem solving, presentation preparation, etc.
  • Participate in Office TPS (Lean management) activities. 

Your Key Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
  • Currently pursuing a BS in Business, Project Management, Data Analytics, or Information Technology.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to interact with individuals across the organization
  • Desire to work on teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Creative and energetic candidate with problem solving skills
 
Preferred:
  • Basis of analysis and project management coursework completed
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Coursework on organizational / team dynamics
  • TPS / Lean Management experience

Your Department:
The Program Management Office is divided into three primary areas: New Product Development, Capital, and Information Technology. The Program Managers lead a variety of cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products, capital equipment, and IT projects. Programs are managed using a phase / gate process. Programs within our department may be unique to Raymond or can occasionally require enterprise-wide solutions involving Toyota, our parent company.
