Data Analyst Intern
HelioMetrics, a healthcare data analytics company based in St. Louis Park, MN is seeking and intern to work 20-30 hours a week to support the development of our healthcare analytics products.
You will use Data Visualization tools to help make our client’s data impactful and interactive; exploring new data sets and creating visualizations that help our clients work more efficiently and make better decisions. If you are looking to become a full-stack data analyst, this is the internship for you.
This is a 3-month internship position. The timing of the internship and when you work is flexible. There is not a virtual position. The internship and any possible full time opportunities thereafter will be in our corporate offices St. Louis Park, MN.
This internship can be used for college credit or work experience.

· Education. Pursuing a BS in computer science or related technical field.
· Experience. Related work or classroom experience in Business Intelligence for dashboarding and reporting
· Excellent Communication. Good written communications
· Relentlessly High Standards. Ability to work independently and multi-task
· Skilled. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau and ETL(SSIS).

· Go-Getter. Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this internship include:
· Assist with the standardization of data collection from clients
· Assist with the design of dashboards and reports that summarize client data and identify trends.
· Assist with providing analytical and technical support to clients
· Document business requirements and translate into technical specifications
· Research tools/guides/hints related to Tableau
· Develop new public facing visualization to be featured on HelioMetrics website.
Invitations to interview will be based upon an assessment of education and experience. Final candidates will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement/non-solicitation agreement, pass a background check and a 10 panel drug test upon acceptance of internship.
