Position Summary:
The Internship Program with WPS Health Solutions is comprised of four key components. WPS interns will primarily focus on the responsibilities within their functional areas, as it relates to their respective field of study. In a group setting, interns will collaborate on the “Pay-It-Forward Project." The third component relates to exposure to corporate culture and training to aid in future career successes. At the conclusion of the program, interns will participate in a final presentation for senior executives by showcasing their experience in the program and functional areas.
In this role you will:
- Will become a subject matter expert that will assist in the piloting/deploying of a new Workforce Optimization (WFO) tool. Incorporate testing, configuring and coordinating with supporting business units to meet defined objectives and goals.
- Assist in creating, maintaining and completion of project plan tasks associated with the WFO Project
- Complete full testing of solution to demonstrate success and identify areas of opportunities
- Partner with the WFO team to solution obstacles associated with deployment
- Create training plans and material (including but not limited job aids, computer based training (CBT) scripting and presentation, instructor led sessions)
- Partner with piloting business unit for training, support, obtaining feedback and issue resolution
You should have:
U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to U.S. Department of Defense restrictions.
- Currently pursuing a degree in higher education or recent graduate of Business, Communications, Computer Science, or related major
- Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
