We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our American Fork, Utah - based team. This is an exciting position in a fast-moving project. We are seeking multiple Summer Interns to help in different departments for the number 1 OTT service Sling TV. Examples of projects include:
- Testing the Sling app on different devices and configurations.
- Test for basic and advanced functionality of the Sling ecosystem, create reports and supply information on the current status of apps, and perform various quality assurance tasks as needed.
- Help code the player
- Work on new UI
- Help to deliver better recommendations to end users
- Work on client for various platforms
- Work with storage and video on the DVR team
Basic Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2020 and August 2021
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Engineering or Computer Science program
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Willing and able to commit to a 10 week program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Python, C++, and Golang
- General programming experience
