ROLE SYNOPSIS
The Marketing & Origination Graduate Development Program supports our Natural Gas, Power, NGL, and Structured Products businesses in Houston. Marketing and Origination professionals are responsible for building and maintaining key relationships, developing unique solutions to address BP’s and our customer’s business needs, and creating additional value for our trading business. To provide the highest level of service, you will interact with many key areas of our business including Trading, Operations, Structuring, and Strategy.
Individuals applying for this role should have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. They should also enjoy problem solving, be detail oriented, and be passionate about working in a fast-paced environment. In addition, working within a team that is working towards achieving financial goals in a compliant and effective manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
• Must have cumulative and major GPA of 3.2 or higher
• BP will not support US Immigration sponsorship for internships or full-time/long-term employment
• Seeking a Bachelor's degree

Preferred Requirements
• Any major as long as you are able to a demonstrate interest in the financial markets
• Graduation between December 2019 through May 2020
 
DEVELOPMENT
Supply/Marketing, Analytics & Trading has two businesses in the United States, one in Houston, TX and one in Chicago, IL. The location based in the energy corridor of Houston, TX and the BP US headquarters, focuses on natural gas, natural gas liquids, power, and structured products. The business in Chicago, IL focuses on oil and refined products. Supply/Marketing & Trading offers graduate rotation programs in disciplines including Analytics, Marketing and Origination, and Trading. Trading and Analytics paths are offered in both businesses, while Marketing and Origination is offered in Houston only. 
This posting is for the Marketing & Origination graduate development program in Houston.
Program Basics
• A series of 1 year rotations, lasting for a total program of 3 years. The 3 rotations are decided upon based on business needs, input from the individual on their development goals, as well as the development program Manager. Examples of rotations include Transportation & Operations Natural Gas Analyst, Gas Marketing Analyst, NGL Marketing Analyst, and Structured Products Analyst.
