Aagard is hiring Engineers and we want to speak with you! We are growing and considering candidates from several engineering related degrees. We provide a training program to help guide you towards the Aagard Engineering discipline that is best suited for you.

Engineering overview
- Through the practice of servant leadership; develop optimal packaging systems, and be engaged in a culture of continuous improvement to safely deliver quality, best value products and services, on time to internal and external customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
- Support the testing and installation of equipment
- Problem solving and solution recommendation
- Provide engineering support to customers, manufacturing floor, and aftermarket.
- Provide training for internal and external customers
- Provide development, feedback and support on Aagard’s process and standards for continuous improvement
Mechanical Engineering:
- Create sound machine designs utilizing 3D CAD modeling software
- Create machine layout, timing, and drives
Controls Engineering:
- Write code to control machine motion and timing
- Work with PC’s, servos, PLC’s, and Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley products
Electrical Engineering:
- Design electrical systems, select and implement hardware to meet project requirements
- Understand and conform to applicable codes and standards including Aagard standards, customer specifications, UL, NFPA industry and safety standards
Applications Engineering:
- Generate sound machine concepts and evaluate ideas for optimizing packaging solutions
- Prepare cost estimates, drive sheets, and quote documentation
