Dairy & Livestock Nutritional Consultant and Sales
GOAL: To help Dairy and Livestock Producers meet their specific
goals for production and profitability.
· Introduce yourself to the marketplace (your area) by doing a market survey, to determine who the potential customers are, and the needs Renaissance can address on each dairy
· Learn Renaissance products and services, along with the business aspects of your career
· Visit dairies to determine feasibility of doing nutritional work and/or of selling Renaissance nutrition and seed-related products
· Meet producers to determine their goals, desires and needs, and their openness to you addressing them with your consulting services
· Do a complete walk through of facilities and animals, and visualize weak links and areas of concern that could be addressed
· Convince producers that you have the personal ability and company support to meet their needs and help to advance their operation
· Take forage samples and work with experienced Renaissance personnel to put together a ration program that meets the customer’s needs and expectations
· Present the program to potential customer(s) outlining the services you will perform and the cost per head per day of the program.
· Ask for an opportunity to service their farm operation
· Service the account on a regular basis to achieve the goals of the producer
