Research and Development Scientist (19-0059)
Streck is recruiting for a talented and professional research and development scientist to join our application development team. This position is responsible for working on research and development projects that are focused on product and process improvements to current commercial product applications and new product development projects.
Primary responsibilities:
- Execute research and development in accordance with FDA mandated design control requirements on projects that include process and product development, validation and verifications, and improvement opportunities for new and existing products
- Collect, record, analyze and interpret experimental data and report results and interpretation of data
- Design and execute experiments
Requirements:
- PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Immunology, or Biochemistry
- 3-5 years post-doctoral or industry experience
- Ability to design, develop and execute research studies and mentor colleagues, both technically and scientifically
- Knowledge of current state of cfDNA and cfRNA research strongly preferred
- Real-time PCR experience preferred
- Experience in liquid biopsy techniques and droplet digital PCR is a plus
- Cell culture of primary and transformed cell lines
