Research and Development Scientist (19-0025)
Streck is recruiting for a talented and professional research and development scientist to join our immunology and biomarkers team. This position is responsible for working on research and development projects that are focused on product and process improvements to current commercial product applications and new product development projects.
Primary responsibilities:
- Execute research and development in accordance with FDA mandated design control requirements on projects that include process and product development, validation and verifications, and improvement opportunities for new and existing products
- Collect, record, analyze and interpret experimental data and report results and interpretation of data
- Design and execute experiments
Requirements:
- PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Cellular Biology.
- 1-5 years post-doctoral or industry experience
- Ability to design, develop, and executive research studies and mentor colleagues, both technically and scientifically
- Practical, hands on knowledge of basic molecular and cellular biology techniques
- Practical, hands on knowledge of eukaryotic cell culture
- Experience with various types of cellular and organ stabilization/preservation techniques
- Experience with Next Generation Sequencing helpful
