A Career with Point72’s Trade Support Team
The Trade Support team has a dedicated staff to provide support of all operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting firm wide; including:
Supporting the firm’s daily trading activities for all products, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange and futures across global markets
Interacting with traders and counterparties to resolve trading matters
Supporting the credit and treasury functions which requires reporting on counterparty exposure, investing the firm’s excess cash and negotiating margin requirements with the firm’s prime brokers and derivative counterparts
About the Trade Support Internship
If you are interested in pursuing a career in Trade Support at an investment firm, the 10 week Trade Support internship at Point72 provides individuals with a valuable experience including but not limited to:
- Exposure to multiple departments within Trade Support at Point72
- Training sessions focused on developing excel, writing, and presentation skills
- Networking opportunities with groups across the firm such as Trading, Finance, Operations, Compliance & Technology
- Speaker series with management level employees across multiple functions at the Firm
- What you’ll doGain knowledge and exposure to the fast paced and competitive hedge fund world in which our Firm not only practices, but creates, best practice techniques
- Intensive mentoring by finance professionals dedicated to investing in your success
- Daily interaction with senior-level professionals

What’s required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fall 2020 or spring 2021
- Demonstrated academic success as reflected in a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3/4.0
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication and technical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team
- Commitment to acting with professionalism and integrity at all times
