Environmental Technician

ORIN is seeking a motivated environmental technician to assist in the following roles: onsite remediation projects, report and proposal writing, data entry and evaluation, and equipment maintenance.

·        Implementing remedial treatment for contaminated soils and water through DPT Geoprobe injection, drilled well injection, or application onto targeted matrix

·        Preparing treatment chemistry

·        Maintaining and cleaning of field equipment

·        Data entry and documentation of daily field activities

·        Communicate with clients to design treatment solutions

·        Compliance with all company and client safety requirements

The ideal candidate will have completed or be working toward a 2 or 4-year degree in an environmental science field, written and oral communication skills, strong work ethic, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record. Must have availability and willingness to travel overnight for multiple days per week, occasionally for more than a week, and adaptable to schedule changes upon short notice. Will need to be capable of lifting at least 55-lbs and work in physically demanding situations. Hazwoper 40-hour training is a plus. Experience with basic plumbing and mechanical skills, driving work trucks or pulling trailers is desired.
