Software Design Intern (Req 121227) - Ann Arbor, MI

Responsibilities:

Highly motivated self-driven individual to be part of a design team to develop, prototype, test and qualify an embedded image acquisition circuitry including board and FPGA firmware/GUI designs, electronics integration.

Write software application or device layer programming. Write user interface software to configure the interface module and collect data including analyzing image data and algo analysis

Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent. Preferably with strong electrical and electronic background and interest

Structure and coding Knowledge of C, C++, RTOS, Linux

It is a plus to have - Precision industrial camera fundamental knowledge. Device driver integrations for serial communications such as RS232, Ethernet, USB, firewire, etc.. Machine Vision system knowledge. Image processing algorithm fundamentals. Previous projects relevant to build or integrate an embedded evaluation electronic board using microprocessor, FPGA, Verilog, simulations, communications, etc.

Understand image processing and algorithms is a plus

Solid team player and be able to work in a multi-discipline and multi-culture global organization

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
