Predictive modeler / Data Scientist, AI Internship , Captario, Sweden

This position is posted on behalf of our partner, Captario, in Gothenburg, Sweden. The candidate will have a mentor on site and the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce will assist in finding housing, insurance and other important matters.

Job Description

Through this internship you will learn about pharmaceutical research and development, modeling and decision analysis. The goal after completion of the internship is that you will take a role as decision scientist here at Captario, either in the USA or in Sweden. During the internship you will work with 
1: Predictive modeling: Develop state of the art models in Captario's software SUM to support customers and other decision scientists 
2: Data science/data analytics. Develop new visualisations and other analyses of project and portfolio data to support business investment decisions. 
3: Work with software developers to implement new functionality into sum 
4: Academic research 


Requirements

1: M.Sc., in a quantitative or scientific discipline, for instance Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering 
2: Exposure to or interest in machine learning, deep learning, neural networks or other technology related to AI 
3: Curiosity and a keen interest to learn 
4: Ability and interest to work with customers in a consulting capacity
