Retail Merchandising Internship
RETAIL MERCHANDISING INTERNSHIP
Von Maur is looking for juniors interested in Retail Merchandising. We view our Internship Program as a summer-long job interview with the hope of offering our top performing Interns a role in our Executive Training Program when they graduate!
During your Retail Merchandising Internship you will:
- Spend 1 week at our NorthPark store working on training, job shadows, and selling
- Spend the remaining 9 weeks at our corporate office in Davenport, Iowa
- Be assigned to a specific Buyer and participate as a member of the team
- Attend Buyer training so you can fully assist your Buyer with any tasks
- Get a behind-the-scene look at our Distribution Center and our E-Commerce
- Work on a Master Project to present to the Buyer and Management team
- Go on store visits, participate in vendor appointments, and go on a market trip
Things you need to know about the Retail Merchandising Internship:
- Our Merchandising Internship roles are all located in Davenport, Iowa
- Our Merchandising Internship is for Junior level students
- This is a 10 week Internship Program over the summer
- Students must be able to commit to a full-time schedule- 35 hours per week
- We only offer paid internship opportunities
- 10 week housing options available for corporate interns
Qualifications:
- 3.0 GPA
- Junior Level Status
- Retail Experience Preferred
