Environmental, Health, and Safety Intern

The EHS Intern will work directly with and provide support to the Environmental, Health & Safety team. The EHS Intern will also support the implementation of hazard and management processes for assigned projects under the overall supervision of EHS team member(s) and support the implementation of the EHS management systems. 

The EHS intern may be responsible for providing field assistance, or other technical functions which may include the following:

assisting in preliminary hazard analysis development and reviews;

participating in project safety and health technical reviews;

performing contractor inspections and field audits for compliance with project requirements;

assisting with industrial hygiene assessments such as noise monitoring and air monitoring, and performing respirator fit-testing;

assisting in the coordination and development of programs, reports, and training materials;

researching, extracting, analyzing, and compiling technical data.
