Peace Summit of Emerging Leaders at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand

Humanitarian Affairs Asia is looking for outstanding student leaders to attend the Peace Summit of Emerging Leaders at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand from February 5 to 7, 2020.

You could become the next Humanitarian Affairs Peace Ambassador and have the opportunity to serve for one year through your own peace building initiatives.

Are You:
  • Passionate about Social Change, Global Issues or Humanitarian Affairs?
  • Engaged in or interested in Peace Building Projects?
  • Have exemplary Academic Standing?
  • Between the ages of 17 to 35 years?
         
We believe that every student, regardless of your study discipline, has the ability to contribute to Peace. Join us and have the opportunity to represent your fellow peers, your institution and your home country as a Peace Summit 2020 delegate.

The Peace Summit of Emerging Leaders 2020

The 2nd Peace Summit of Emerging Leaders will select 500 young leaders from across the world and give them a new perspective and a broader understanding about peace building.

The summit features incredible keynote speakers, networking sessions and interactive workshops to prepare and empower young leaders to become a champion of peace. The summit will ignite your passion for humanity, drive you to step out of your comfort zone, and set your heart on greater causes beyond self-preservation. More importantly, it will kindle the flame of humanity deep within you to contribute to your communities.

About the Peace Ambassador Role:

Each delegate will have an opportunity to serve for one year as a Humanitarian Affairs Peace Ambassador following their attendance at the Peace Summit. The Humanitarian Affairs Peace Ambassador role is a one year self-initiated position that gives you the opportunity to establish your own Peace Project and put peace building initiative into practice. You can read our Peace Projects Newsletter which features shortlisted students from across the world who have gone on to establish a peace building initiative after attending the Peace Summit.
