Information Technology Internship - Summer 2020

Jump start your IT career with an Internship at Athene! Our Intern Program is designed to introduce students to the wide variety of career opportunities available at Athene, as well as provide professional and social networking opportunities throughout the summer. Information Technology Interns will have the opportunity to focus on an area of IT. 

Internship focus areas include the following:

·        Security/Infrastructure

·        Risk Developer

·        Actuarial Developer

·        App Developer

·        Finance IT

·        Java Developer

·        Portfolio & Budget

·        End User Technology

·        Students are expected to work independently and will be responsible for ownership of their portion of a project once they have been properly trained

·        Students are encouraged to add value and provide recommendations for improvements to processes and systems by applying their experience and knowledge

·        Students will maintain a log evaluating each project assigned and prepare an evaluation of the experience in order to improve the quality of future projects

·        Entering Junior or Senior year (3rd or 4th year) in the Fall of 2020

·        Interested in pursuing a career in IT

·        Significant experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

·        Well-rounded and self-motivated

·        Proficient communication and organizational skills

·        Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to accomplishing tasks

·        Previous internship experience preferred
