Position Summary
This position is responsible for completing quality control and checks on our extensive archive scoping and related deliverables. Our QA team works directly with our archive product line experts to ensure that Rimini street clients receive the best advice possible when working to complete their archives. The position will require a candidate that is detail focused and have a strong eye for quality and errors. Good written and spoken language skills are a must in order to articulate and manage any issues that are found through the QA process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Following the Rimini street quality control process to validate and perform reasonability checks on behalf of our customers
- Understand Oracle products and the various mechanisms that Oracle provides to download software media, patches and updates through various Oracle provided sites.
- Understand and work with clients to define production and future environments for key areas such as Database, Developer Tools, Oracle Technology/Middleware and preferably including knowledge of patch structure of said products
- Knowledge in one or two Oracle products such as Database, Middleware, PeopleSoft, Oracle E-Business Suite, JDE or Siebel desired.
- Enthusiastic, focused and provide input for future improvements to the process.
- Be a team player working directly with the QA Team lead and Archive Product line experts
- Work closely with the Archiving Services team who perform the approved downloading tasks and use some automated tools for validation.
- Validate the archive for overall completeness.
- Primary contact for internal teams and the Client for questions and direction that arise during the onboarding and archiving process.
- Review and understand commercial agreements and provide coaching to sales, onboarding and other teams on archive related requirements
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaise and work with other product line experts from the above mentioned product lines
- Contribute to the support service which is running 24x7x365, this will require the ability to work flexible hours and monitoring email regularly outside standard business hours
- Communicate effectively across various organizations within Rimini Street (e.g., sales, client on-boarding, development & QA, support, etc.)
- Be committed to excellence and high quality standards

Education
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience ( Open to New Graduates with Bachelor Degree in Computer Science : Required GPA of 3.3 or above . Must have had Internship in related field to be considered for this role.
Experience
- 0 - 5 years relevant experience with technical experience working with Oracle products(Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Middleware, Oracle Database), with knowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics for ERP architecture including Database and Middleware (Internet Application Server, WebLogic Server, Fusion Middleware).
- Demonstrated background with quality control processes.
- Use of office based tools such as excel, word and one note.
- Understanding of installation and/or usage of common developer tools, such as Developer Suite, Business Intelligence, or JDeveloper would be an advantage
- Experience with other products such as PeopleSoft, JDE , Siebel, Microsoft SQL, IBM DB2 or SAP Sybase is a plus.
