Computer Support Specialist

Stamats Communications, Inc., is looking for an entry-level Computer Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will provide excellent end user experience, resolving technical issues for all our employees, including those in our offsite offices. This position will be involved in implementing and supporting tech driven solutions, hardware devices and other peripherals. This position is in our Cedar Rapids, Iowa, headquarters.

Responsibilities for this position
  • Manage help desk requests and resolve outstanding issues
  • Create training guides and develop end-user education with periodic tech tips
  • Manage telephony systems
  • Maintain daily IT support and system functionality across the corporation
  • Manage Office 365 users and licensing
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems in a timely fashion
  • Responding to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
  • Documenting, tracking and monitoring the problem to ensure a timely resolution

Qualifications:
  • A working knowledge of IT processes and procedures
  • A degree in Information Technology, or in the process of obtaining a degree or certification is preferred. Candidates without a degree will be considered with appropriate previous work experience
  • Proficiency in Windows 10
  • Working knowledge of Office 365
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Ability to multi-task through projects
