General Summary 
We are excited for you to apply to our Systems Analyst-Asset Management position within our Information Technology Division. This position will be responsible for the administration and support of our enterprise asset management solutions and related software.

Responsibilities

  • Works with business areas to identify specific business requirements and determine system and/or process needs to ensure project deliverables meet customer expectations.
  • Designs and develops business solutions based on business requirements to provide business improvements.
  • Develops and conducts quality assurance testing to ensure quality products are delivered.
  • Supports, enhances, and maintains existing business applications to ensure their availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Establishes and maintains application development and support processes to improve application reliability for the business.
  • Establishes strategic direction for business applications and corresponding technologies to meet GRE’s long-term goals.



Qualifications

To qualify, you should have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field and 1-3+ years of experience designing, developing and supporting business systems or applications OR 2+ years post high school education in a technology related field and 3-5+ years of experience designing *, developing and supporting business systems or applications.
  • *Please note: Designing may or may not be a job responsibility of this role. It will depend on the level of systems analyst that is hired.
  • Experience in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is required.
  • Experience with translating business requirements into usable business solutions within Maximo.
  • Experience with IBM Maximo 7 including application installation, configuration, and tuning is preferred.
  • Experience in integrating data from other software applications with Maximo.
  • Experience with designing, developing and supporting mobile solutions is preferred.
  • Expertise in designing and developing reports with IBM Cognos is preferred.
  • Experience with relational database technologies including Oracle and database languages including SQL and PL/SQL is preferred.
  • Experience with IBM WebSphere administration and tuning in a high availability environment is preferred.
  • Experience with web development technologies (Java, Python, XML, and CSS) is preferred.
  • Utility industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of enterprise asset management lifecycle processes and best practices is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Maximo Business Objects (MBOs) and how they are used within Maximo, with integrations, and with reporting.
  • Knowledge in web application infrastructure architecture including protocols, scalability, and security.
  • Skill in systems analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation, integration and support.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, project management, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to establish credibility, build relationships, and partner with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to organize and interpret data; strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, multi-task, and provide strong customer service.
