Allsteel, a signature brand within HNI Corporation, has summer internship opportunities for students pursuing a Business, Finance or Marketing degree and are looking to expand their knowledge this summer growing their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As a Product Management Intern with Allsteel you join a fast-paced, highly visible team with a vision and passion for implementing solutions and exceeding our customers’ expectations. While no day will be the same, you can expect to put the knowledge you have gained in the classroom to use each day in a variety of experiences.  Our interns receive a project (or two!) for the summer and work directly with a mentor for technical and professional guidance. Our interns are challenged and charged with seeking better ways of conducting business . . . continually asking . . . How can this be improved? 
Our Product Management Internship experience will provide you the opportunity to help the business maximize profitability by supporting all aspects of the product life-cycle management process for the assigned product line in support of organizational goals and customer needs. Drive financial performance and profitability, manage product life-cycle process, contribute to development of comprehensive strategic product plan, conduct appropriate research to understand market trends, competitive offerings, and customer requirements to validate product initiatives and assist in development and launch of marketing and training materials.  
Successful candidates for a Product Management internship will be or have:  
  • Pursuing a four-year degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field 
  • Attaining high academic achievement in their education pursuits
  • Strong leadership characteristics and be active in college activities
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Strong communication skills
