Allsteel, a signature brand within HNI Corporation, has summer internship opportunities for students pursuing a Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Advertising, or Communications degree and are looking to expand their knowledge this summer growing their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As a Creative Services Intern with Allsteel you join a fast-paced, highly visible team with a vision and passion for implementing solutions and exceeding our customers’ expectations. While no day will be the same, you can expect to put the knowledge you have gained in the classroom to use each day in a variety of experiences.  Our interns receive a project (or two!) for the summer and work directly with a mentor for technical and professional guidance. Our interns are challenged and charged with seeking better ways of conducting business . . . continually asking . . . How can this be improved? 
Our Creative Services Internship experience will provide you the opportunity to assist in the support of market-facing look and tone for all Allsteel marketing materials. You will impact our visual strategy, influence brand activation ideas, and support a variety of highly visual communications to internal/external clients through print publications, graphic design, events, photography, and/or other related creative activities. You will be an outgoing self-motivated graphic designer with a creative eye, great attention to detail and have an uncommon passion for doing great work and have a passion and curiosity for engaging with and delighting customers. 
Successful candidates for a Creative Services internship will be or have:  
  • Pursuing a four-year degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Advertising, Communications, or related field 
  • Attaining high academic achievement in their education pursuits
  • Strong leadership characteristics and be active in college activities
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Strong communication skills
