who are ready to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. The intern will assist in conducting research, writing reports, analyzing data, and making recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency. This will be a valuable experience for students pursuing a career in business related pathways, in addition to any of the fields above.

Business Internship Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in Research and Analysis, data collection, market surveys, etc. on economic, social and political impact towards the Spire project within the targeted community

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information to support Spire for project solutions

  • Communicate with local authorities and the community to gather information required for the research

  • Assist in preparing project related reports

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports

  • Ensure standards and requirements of the project are met

  • Estimate costs and benefits of multiple actions and/or solutions and provide recommendations

  • Help launch new initiatives

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here

  • May perform in additional projects upon request.

Requirements

  • Business Administration or any related major
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
  • Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong facilitation and coordination skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Compensation

Flights, transport, accommodation, living expenses and an allowance shall be provided.

Timing

The internship vacancies are flexible in timing, and run for a period of 6 months beginning from 1st November 2019. We can arrange for intake on a flexible work schedule suitable to the applicant.
