Product Marketing Internship (Santa Clara, Summer 2020)

Not Just Another Product Marketing Internship
As an intern in our networking product marketing group, you’ll get the best of both worlds: the opportunity to collaborate with a tight-knit, agile team and contribute daily to our strategic plan execution while gaining experience working for a global technology leader that counts 99 percent of the Fortune 500 among its customers. You will be working with and mentored by a seasoned product marketing team that has a long track record in the networking and cloud computing industries spanning the evolution of networking from hardware appliances to software-defined solutions.

How You Can Make a Difference
Critical thinking and curiosity paired with the motivation to quickly execute will be your keys to success in this role. If analyzing data to determine market trends, presenting your recommendations based on your analysis, and writing a blog post that uses your analysis to share actionable information with our customers are things you can do equally well, then you have the skills to become an effective product marketer. A passion for simplifying complex topics for our audiences will be priceless.
What You’ll Do
  • Assist in writing new demand generation and sales enablement content such as data sheets, white papers, blog posts, pitch decks, email templates, social media posts, and more
  • Research industry trends and competitor developments and present findings to key stakeholders
  • Drive management and production of various integrated digital marketing campaigns
  • Anything else that comes up that we need your help with — our industry ecosystem is evolving quickly as are Citrix networking solution
Skills and Qualifications You’ll Bring
  • Experience creating content for various media, even if not professionally
  • Write persuasively and communicate well
  • Analyze data and effectively draw conclusions 
  • Seek clarity and establish goals when starting a new project and then manage it end to end and own the results
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Passion for marketing or technology or both
  • Competence with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • An eye for design and familiarity with design tools a plus
  • An actively enrolled student at an accredited college or university working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Preferred major in English, Business, Marketing, Linguistics, Technology Statistics, Data Analytics, or related
