Speech Language Pathologist - Bilingual Spanish

The Shandy Clinic has an opening for full-time, bilingual Spanish, pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our Colorado Springs team. This specific listing is for the Colorado Springs area. The Shandy Clinic is an outpatient pediatric setting with locations in several cities including Colorado Springs, Denver, and Pueblo. We are looking for passionate, fun, and energetic pediatric Speech Language Pathologists to join our team. At the Shandy Clinic, we put our patients first, providing a multi-disciplinary therapy approach to ensure success in the home, classroom, and community. Our staff works with patients in both land and aquatic settings in a one-on-one ration. Our full time staff includes Speech, Physical, and Occupational therapists as well as ABA specialists and Clinical Psychologists to provide the most comprehensive and collaborative care to our patients and their families. New graduates and Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP) applicants are welcome to apply and would be provided with supervision.

Job Description:
The Speech Therapist will provide exceptional Speech Therapy services to pediatric clients and families in an outpatient setting.
  • They will assist families with Home Programming and community transitions.
  • Perform initial and re-evaluations, set goals, update plans of cares, and make treatment recommendations that are relevant to each individual client.
  • Document daily treatment sessions and progress reports according to insurance standards.
  • Bill for appropriate services completed.
  • Clearly communicate with other service providers such as Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, teachers, administrators of the Shandy Clinic, billing and authorization department, and supervisors.
  • Collaborate and work with a team of PT, OT, SLP, BCBAs and Clinical Psychologists.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.

Educational Requirements: Completed Clinical Internship in Pediatrics or at least 1 year experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish Required
