2020 Spring Intern and Fellow Program

Save the Children’s Spring 2020 Intern and Fellow Program invites talented undergraduate students, graduate students and recent graduates to join us for an 11 week program from January 28, 2020 to April 24, 2020  in either our headquarters office in Fairfield, CT or Washington D.C.

·        We are looking for individuals who wish to make a real contribution to the lives of children and bring their knowledge and interest to our work each day.

·        Interns and Fellows work under the direct supervision of an experienced Save the Children staff member, within a specific department, to expand their knowledge of the humanitarian aid, non-profit industry, while at the same time develop skills and experience in their chosen field or career.

·        The work focuses on advancing important projects such as: program and policy research, internet and social media projects, communications and campaigns, and fundraising.

·        Interns and Fellows are paid and may work up to 24 hours per week

·        We do not offer housing arrangements or relocation costs

·        Intern Status: currently enrolled undergraduate or have graduated within 6 months of start date

·        Fellow Status: currently enrolled graduate or post-graduate student or have graduated within 6 months of start date

·        Housing and relocation are not provided

·        Interns and fellows must work in one of our office locations in either Fairfield, Connecticut, Lexington, Kentucky or Washington D.C. (no remote work)

·        Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States (foreign nationals must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school and possess a valid student visa)
