Operational Support Specialist

BASYS Processing, Inc. is searching for a highly organized, collaborative and task-oriented Operations Support Specialist to add value to their Operations Team! The ideal candidate is a very detail and project-oriented person that enjoys collaborating with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality to perform general administrative and customer support duties for the internal specialized Account Management teams. 
Essential Functions:
  • Complete account and new customer application data entry for the Operations Department
  • Completes quality control checks to ensure customer accounts are setup correctly
  • Review vendor status tools to complete Underwriting requirements for new customer accounts
  • Assist Customer Support Team with account maintenance items such as refunds, account closures, contact or address changes, banking information updates, pricing updates
  • Review and resolve issues with billing, funding, merchant set-ups, security access, product support and research situations to the assigned Service Analyst, all the while following the escalation to the end result in order to report the resolution to the Operations Team
  • Complete assigned account invoicing and account payables duties including, but not limited to PO generation, tracking and updating all purchases via credit card, receiving inventory in to accounting system, updating merchant records and hard copy file maintenance
  • Coordinate large pricing and statement messaging projects through third party vendors.
  • Oversees assigned bank conversions, maintaining lines of communication with the banking partner to ensure accuracy of account setup, product deployment, merchant processing, and follows up to determine satisfaction of merchants and banking partner
  • Complete client account maintenance functions utilizing third party support process as required
Position Requirements:
  • 2+ years in Account Management, Contract Negotiation, Sales, Administration, Operations or Customer Support 
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing or a Related field Preferred. In lieu of degree, may have relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
  • Experience with CRM Program
