Grand Canyon is an icon of the National Park Service. These positions focus on visitor services and are both demanding and rewarding. Work will take place in the Village District at the South Rim. You are the welcoming face of the park. Employees spend time roving the trails, answering questions at visitor centers, and orienting visitors to the transportation system in the park. Additional duties include roving parking lots and bus terminals to assist visitors in finding appropriate parking spots and navigating the park in the most efficient means possible. Our staff also provides informal interpretation throughout each district and initiates interpretive contacts. Throughout the summer, you will also have the opportunity to research, create, and present formal interpretive talks.
