Campaign Finance Staff - Eddie Mauro for US Senate - Iowa

Iowa will be the center of the political universe for the next several months, and it will remain critical thereafter. Most pundits rank incumbent Republican Joni Ernst as one of the most vulnerable US Senators up for reelection in 2020. Democrats need to win races like this one to take back the US Senate!

Teacher, coach, and small businessman Eddie Mauro is running to become the Democratic nominee and to challenge Ernst next November. We hope you will consider joining Eddie’s campaign staff as part of his fundraising team.

For most of his working life Eddie was a teacher and coach (coaching his high school team to two state championships) before becoming a successful small businessperson. As for Joni Ernst, her positions are also quite clear (and are in sharp contrast with Eddie). She has a solid “A” rating from the NRA, opposes same-sex marriage, and is against a woman’s right to choose. She wants to eliminate the IRS, the Department of Education, and the Environmental Protection Agency. She’s had a hard time defending President Trump’s actions in the Ukraine, but had an easier time when she disagreed with President Obama’s recess appointments, stating that she believed Obama was a dictator who be removed from office or face impeachment.

Eddie’s campaign is now hiring fundraising staff. Prior campaign and fundraising experience is not required. This job is an excellent opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in Democratic politics or looking for a once in a lifetime experience.
