Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join our team in the role Export Documentation Specialist. This position will consist of preparation, distribution, and maintenance of all export documents for various geographical regions. The Export Documentation Specialist will respond to customer inquiries, verify and distribute invoices, prepare and distribute documents, record and trace all pertinent documents for upcoming shipments.
Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:
-Export Documentation including ocean bills of lading, invoice, etc.,
-Invoice preparation
-Ensure the on-time delivery of customer’s documents
-Prepare letter of credit documents
-Process approval of bills of lading
-Customer follow-up
-Provide data for client services as needed
-Work with credit on release of documents to a customer or bank

Education & Experience:
-Bachelor’s Degree required.
-2-3 years of Import/export documentation, transportation, or customer service experience preferred.
-General knowledge of Incoterms and contract application.
-Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Language Requirements:
-Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently. Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
