HR Recruiting Intern

HR Intern

Location: Piscataway, NJ

Key Responsibilities

·        Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
·        Screen resumes and application forms; schedule, confirm and set up interviews with candidates and coordinate new hire orientations
·        Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks
·        Recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures; help to prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures
·        Assist in developing presentations on metrics, reports and analysis
·        Perform other duties as assigned

Experiences & Skills

  • Full time undergraduate or graduate student, currently enrolled in a program at an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree within a relevant course of study
  • Able to work at least 20 hours per work, preferably 40 hours per week on a full-time basis
  • Able to work full time for at least 6 months for the duration of the internship
  • Previous experience in administration/customer service/human resources is a plus
  • Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and resume databases
  • Good understanding of full-cycle recruiting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
