The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting and coordinating marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Product Marketing Manager to drive business unit growth and profitability. Specific responsibilities include project management in partnership with cross-functional teams; collaboration with Product Marketing Manager on analytics and reporting, budget tracking and management of creative projects such as promotional materials and tradeshows. This role also supports short and long-range department initiatives including digital marketing programs, pricing, product mix and brand communication. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent related work experience. Solid understanding of marketing mix: product, pricing, promotion / advertising, distribution strategies required. Ability to multi-task and manage many projects simultaneously; superior attention to detail and accuracy; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to build effective relationships and work cross-functionally with key internal and external stakeholders; ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills; and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required. Some travel is required. Up to two years of experience in project management, digital content management, and/or product marketing required. Experience in gymnastics and/or other sporting goods areas are a plus. This position is full time with a complete benefit package, including health, dental, vision, and 401K.
